Closing Checklist
It is important that you bring the following items with you to closing. If you have any questions in this regard, please contact our closing department.
Buyers
- Photo identification (Unexpired driver's license, passport or state picture ID)
- Cashier's check for total of funds needed to close. (This check should be made out to yourself. Please also bring your checkbook in case adjustments are made at closing.)
- Insurance binder and receipt from your homeowners insurance agent.
- Previous addresses for the last ten years.
- Any additional documents which your loan officer asks you to bring.
- If you are a married person, your spouse must also attend the closing, or you must make alternate arrangements with your closing agent.
Sellers
- Photo identification (Unexpired driver's license, passport or state picture ID)
- Invoices for any unpaid bills, such as work done on the property, utility bills, delinquent taxes, etc. This includes any invoices which will be paid at closing.
- Previous addresses for the last ten years.
- Any items you wish to give to the Buyers, such as keys, garage door openers, warranties, instruction books, association payment coupons, etc.
- All Sellers and their spouses must be present at closing, or you must make alternate arrangements with your closing agent.
